Ranch House Fries


Preparation level: Adult supervision: Sharp knife and hot surface involved.


Scrub the potatos (don't peel!), then slice each potato lengthwise into 8 wedges and drop them into cold water. (It rinses some of the starchiness out, and makes them less likely to burn.) When all the potatoes are cut, rinse and drain the water off the potato wedges. Pour the olive oil and ranch dressing mix over the wedges and toss them until well coated. Place in a thin layer on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 30-35 minutes or until nicely browned. Serve with sour cream.

I think these are my favorite fries ever!
